2004 Shafer, One Point Five, Stags Leap District, Napa Valley, California, $65. Underscored by blackberry preserves, Baker’s chocolate, a dash of herbs and dusty notes, this Cabernet Sauvignon is full and elegant on the palate, with layers of complexity. Fans of the style will love its big, bold presentation; 91/91.

Looks like there are going to be some killer 04s and just when my cellar is busting at the seams. Tankee Herr Dock-i-tor. WW

What a strange name.....almost like a software release. I know what they are trying to say (almost transition of generations, etc) but isn't there another way of saying that.....

"Sons do Rise" (a la Goats do Roam)
"Tradition"
"Elevation"
.....

Or

"Retiring but still managing......"
"Won't quite let go...... "
