Bottle was in decent shape. It was decanted to remove sediment...though not much was there.

It did not have much of an aging rim...in fact, it didn't have it at all.

Nose was very reserved. On taste, some cedar, slight berry, gameyness, earthiness, and a bit of green pepper. Wine never did open up all night, leading us to suspect that it was over the hill. Perhaps just this bottle.
