I went over to a friend's house this evening to taste through a few wines. One of the wines was the Miner Family cabernet '03. The bottle wasn't finished, so I took it home as I feel wasting wine is a dirty shame . I had also bought a bottle of McManis cab '04 earlier and decided to compare. The interesting part???? Not much difference. BTW, both wines had been open for some time, but neither decanted. The Miner has a little more backbone, but very little. One Napa, one central coast, one $40ish, one $10ish, and very similar.???? Give it shot, very trippy.
