Tried a sample of the 99 Sterling Reserve tonight. Oh my, this is a 90 pointer, with lots of structure, balance, fruit, sturdy but rounded tannins, and the stuffing to carry it for 10+ years.

Totally agree Buckster. Can actually resemble some of the great 70s' Reserves that got me into this wonderful world of wine from my martini and single malt daze. WW. Posted about Sterling somewheres' earlier and said basically the same thin'. If you can find it the 99 Diamond Mtn. is a killer bottle fer' less buckos'(giggle). Also agree....I've noticed an improvement with all their offerings.
