This was the only wine of the night that was purely CS. Very deep in colour, serious in nature, tobacco, dark fruits. On the palate, there is a serious structure and density that said mountain fruit. Serious enough for me as to be described as being focused. I donâ€™t think Iâ€™ve ever said that about a Cab before. Impressive.
