Another bottle that jumps rite to the front of the P/Q lineup. Cherries both red & black, Blaxckberries, some dust and a touch of spice hits the nose and all come over on the palate. An easy drinker that has a lot going for it. Bottled by the winery in Grafton(Sonoma County) this shows there are bargains to be found from Napa. 88/95 at the rediculous price of 13&change, 13.8% alc. WW (an ordering 2 more boxes Mon). WW

They have it in our local NH Liq Stores. The Napa is $13.99 and the CA in $12.99! Strange! Will go for the Napa.

Picked up a couple at World Market a few days ago and tried tonight with potroast. Agree with you guys, the Napa is a whale of a bargain at $13.99. 13.8% alc/vol. I'll buy more.

We just received a shipment of a case of '05 from www.wineglobe.com It cost $174.49 with free shipping. That's $14.54 per bottle, but that is $3.50 less than it is selling for here.

Heard that it was 9.99 at one joint locally last week. Passed, since I'd sprung for seven cases of other stuff recently.

Saw the 06 at Trader Joes... Waiting for you all to try it first though, since I have little room for Cabs in my cellar!

Will probably get their stock in next week. I'll grab one as soon as I see it. Think Drew has already posted on this hummer earlier. WW

We popped the first one out of the box last night. It lived up to the reputation posted above. We matched it with shell steaks, baked potato, and salad. Great Saturday night. Wish they were all like that.

It is essentially a NY/KC strip with some bone still attached. If you take a T-bone or Porterhouse and remove the fillet and the the T, you have a shell steak left. Some folks call it a semi-boneless stip steak.

We popped another bottle last night with incredible 2" thick rib eyes, and local corn on the cob and Frenchie green beans. Was that Thursday? Thought it was Sunday!!!
