Got some heavy equipment in the cellar and did some serious moving and got to this jewel. Clear brilliant ruby. Almost candied nose highlighted by rosy floral notes that permeate the air. Lite vanilla notes with a touch cocoa. Silky entry a very solid center and a long finish mark this beauty as being at or near its peak. This bottle may be atypical as the cork was stained half-way up. No leakage. A really outstanding bottle that will hold at least another 10. I'd have to give this the nod over the 97 at this time, but will do this again later. 92. WW

Thanks WW, I'm gonna see if I can pick a little more up through winesearcher, maybe a few '94 Souverains as well.
As an aside the tasting room at Souverain is now out of '92 and '95 reserve :-(
