1986 Charles Krug

I recently turned 21 and as one of my gifts my mom gave to me a bottle of Charles Krug Cabernet Sauvignon ( 1986) which she bought the week after I was born. It was stored in a cooler and on its side, and was always kept in a cool place. I was wondering if there was any worth to this bottle and if it would still be good to drink, from what I have heard, it should still be good. Any help would be greatly appreciated =)
