Lasagna a la Momma

My mother is coming over for dinner. She's preparing her famous meat lasagna and I mean I can eat a good 2 pounds of it in one setting. I'd like to get her something new to pair with her perfectioniste dish.

Second KC's recs. Would also suggest that '07 Avignonesi Rosso di Montepulciano that I've raved about; that's made to order for a first class lasagna. (Are you still holding a case of the Avignonesi for me? If so, could you go ahead and ship it, now that the weather has cooled off? Thanks.)
