1994 Hedges Red Mtn Reserve

Deep ruby, sharply focused, beautifully structured bottle of red stuff. The entire 1st minute of nosing this lovely sucker bears a ton of black and red fruits. Then comes the spices, cassis, bakers cocoa, and jes' a piddlin' of vanilla(Oak). Don't be deceived into the notion this bubba is ready as there are a whole passel of tannins that hog-tie the tongue for at least 15 seconds. This lovely needs at least another 5-7 to become the 93-95 wine it promises. Glad I bought a box out of the 1000 produced. Bucko, give them dudes my attaboy award for March. WW
