Franciscan Magnificat. This is a wine my ole'pal Jim Wallace would hate. In the last year the Cabernet Franc has really asserted itself. Very floral with traces of cassis and spice with some mature fruit showing thru. A little dissapointing. Hope it's just a dumb stage. 85/89.25 by the box.(down from 89 last bottle) WW
Beringer Alluvium. Just the opposite of the Magnifi. Completely integrated varietals showing a lovely floral, berry, spicy nose and a silky texture that finishes like Arnie. A strong 4 lapper. 91/91 26 by the box.WW
