synopsis of the wines consumed at the house over the week-end with myraid friends. No comprehensive notes just impressions.
95 Woodward Canyon Artists Series. Lovely wine that seemed to be at or close to peaking. V.G. to Excel.
96 Robert Craig Howell Mtn. Still needs another 1-2 to shed the last of its tannins. Very concentrated, densly packed. Outstanding potential.
96 Swanson Napa. Solid product that is at the top-of-its' game. V.G to Excel.96 B.R.Cohn Olive Hill. At peak. Lovely balance with all componenbts in balance. Excel.
96 Ch. St. Jean Cinq Cepages. Requested by some Atlanta friends. Reported on lately. Outstanding.
96 Hess Collection. Good stuff. Lots of vibrant mtn. fruit with mature balanced lite oak nuances. Excel.
96 St. Clement Napa. Still one of their finest efforts. Everything where it should be. At top. Excel.
96 Dehlinger Estate. Sonoma Cab at its' showcase best. Mite be able to use another year but has it all going now. Excel.
Had 2 bottles of each of the above. No consesus on WOTD as we consumed Sat with a group of about 10 others and Sun and Mon with some different folks. BigRedWines was at the Sat party at the house as well as the shindid CB put on Sun at our favorite restaurant for 68 family and and friends. Everyone seemed to have fun and there was copius amounts of good food and mediocre wines. No corkage here in my beloved Valley of the Sun so had to drink the house stuff. It wasn't dreck just not great. Was absolutely a ball having my whole family together with a bunch of my closest and dearest friends. I am truly blessed. WW

Nice lineup of wines and it sounds like a fabulous time was had by all. Wish we could have been there, but our thoughts were with you on your big day.

You wouldn't want to be that fly Mark. He swallows dozens of them every day.
