2001 Cosentino Napa Cab

What a value!! 38 bucks for this beauty. Beautiful, deep nose of tobacco, smoke, cedar ... nice black currant on the palate, perfect balance on the finish. Medium-plus body, not jammy at all. Very balanced.
This is one of the top-five Cabs I've tasted since I got here to Napa two months ago, and it's easily the cheapest of those five.

Mitch makes some great juice. I haven't tasted the 01 but have some 97s and 99s resting comfortably. We're coming to Napa for the week of Nov 8th so will try it then. WW
