I recently purchased two magnums of Forman's 1997 Cabernet. I believe Ric Forman of Napa Valley is the wine maker. The wine was rated 95-100 points (in the barrel) by Wine Spectator in 1998. Oddly, I could not find anything on the internet about Forman wine's. Has anyone experience with this particular vintage (97) or Forman's cabernet wines in any earlier vintage?

Forman wines are personal statements. They are often big, chewy and rich: a great study.

I`ve been a great fan of Ric`s since his early days at Sterling. He makes wines of substance and character that will improve greatly with time in bottle. Had a 90 last week and it still needs time. Hold these mags as long as you can. you`ll be rewarded.Winoweenie
