1992 Penfolds Cabernet/Shiraz

This pretty lil' sucker is progressing by leaps and bounds. The nose exhibits the cassis,dark chocolate, and brite fruits of the cab and the spicy, leather notes of the syrah. The tannins have rounded to the point that the entry is soft, silky, and smooth almost like a merlot but with the depth and strength of the cab. The center is weighty and the finish is long and concentrated. This honey still has lots of time. Had it with Hotsies favorite cut and it be Sooooo good. Deserves the accolades it received. WW
