I just grabbed a 91 M. Coz and a 92 Rubicon from the back of a friends store. I'm guessing it's now or never on both... yes?

Hi GAD, sorry to be late with this but you have a couple of pretty derned good drinkin' bottles. If they have had good storage they should be close to the top of their game. Give us a tasting note on these 2. The 91 Coz was outstanding a year ago whenced last it covered my gums. No history on the 92 Ruby-snort but I've never had a 92 I didn't like as my tasting of this super vintage from my cellar will attest. WW

Had the 91 Coz. The nose was still there, but the fruit was weakening. A little to soft on the pallet for my liking. Some, however, would say it was just right. Still I can't complain at the price of $0. It's always funopening something that is new to you, but has some age to it.

10-12 years is about max for the Coz except under ideal storage as this meritage blend normally uses only about 40/50% cab. Still a very pretty bottle normally. WW

Well, the 92 Ruby was about the same. Pleasent and pretty on the nose, but quite light on the pallet. I am rethinking how long I store my cabs big time.
