2000 rutherford oaks hozhoni vineyard

Had a good friend over last night for dinner. Pulled out this bottle that I bought on a closeout from my favorite bottle shop last week.Classic rutherford.I could smell the dust and taste the dirt(earthy).Dark fruits emerge after about a half hour.Great nose,great legs and smooth from start to finish.I rate the finish as 3.5 on the ww lapper chart.29 by the bottle.I liked this wine!unfortunately it is all sold out here.If you can find it ,it is a value for the $.

Right on BRW. A vineyard whose grapes have graced some of the great wines of Napa. Agree that if you can find this stunner at less than 30, go for it. Released at 50+. WW
