1995 Franciscan Magnificat

Rooting around in the cellar making room for the incoming mailing list shipments when I ran across this orphan. Been so long that I couldn't pull up the vaugest idea of a tasting note on the hummer. Opened with trepidation but was surprised at the lovely clear ruby color and the spicy perfume. Flowery, cassis , creamy cocoa, and spices hit the nose. Supple entry medium center and a killer 4+ lapper finish. This blend of Cabernet , Merlot and Cab Franc is the best bottle I've expwerienced from this Oakville estate. 91/94. 24 by the box. 13.5% alc. WW
