I think a nice SB would handle either of those as well. So would a Riesling such as a German Kabinett.

I definitely second (or is it third) the SB. I have made many different dishes with the shrimp/garlic/citrus base over the past few months, and SB goes very well with this combo. However, I've found another wine that can go equally as well. It's Insolia from Sicily, and it has many of the same characteristics as the SB, but it's different enough not to be confused with SB. Give it a try.

I agree that your best bet is going to be a nice SB. Speaking of shrimp... You're making me so hungry. I'm going to have to make some soon LOL
