Wow!
I just found your site and I've become a little wine collector over the last two years! Just started diving into it, so I'm not hitting any major expensive stuff.
However, on the subject of cabs, I found a cab about 8 months ago, 1997 Sebastiani Sonoma Cask. Wow, talking about a wonderfully drinkable wine. And low and behold, I'm visiting family in Chico, CA and I stumble upon 4 more bottles at Safeway. Makes perfect sense! Who in Chico is going to drink good wine? Just hard booze 16.00 too.
I consider myself very fortunate.

Hi there Master_Yoda and welcome to our humble, but friendly board. If you go back on this thread for a year you'll find MANY reviews of the tremendous 97 vintage. Hailed by lots of guys and Gurus as the best ever vintage in Calif history it produced literally TONS of marvy bottles. You had to really work at it to mess up those grapes. Have fun in your new avocation. WW
