Hi!
I'm looking for some new vineyards to try.
What do people suggest for just basic
a)chicken
b)steak
c)noodles
meals?

I would say ANY wine would do -- a non-specific answer because you aren't being specific at all in your dishes. What kind of chicken, what kind of noodles, etc., etc.?

Agree with Randy, but if you really mean basic, here goes:
Chicken: Chardonnay; preferably Louis Jadot, Macon Villages.
Steak: Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot or blend thereof; preferably Columbia Crest, Grand Estate, Cabernet Sauvignon.
Noodles: or any other starch alone such as potatoes, Pinot Noir; preferably Villa Mt Eden, California, Pinot Noir.
