Is white wine a cure for eye migraines?

My daughter was recently diagnosed with eye migraines. The problems have been going on for 4 weeks with the prescribed meds offering no relief. After she had a glass of white wine she noticed the symptoms disappear. Several days of medicating approx. every 5 hours with 1 glass of white wine seem to have helped dramatically. Anyone know why this would happen??

Seems like the wine might be working just by relaxing the patient. But I could find nothing that points to white wine as treatment for this ailment.

This is very interesting and should be reported to the Harvard Medical School. My uncle has ocular migraines and I'll let him know it should be experimented...

From what I read, red wine is more beneficial to health than white wine. Actually, this is the first time that I read something about health benefits of white wine. Migraines are usually associated with lack of sleep and stress. So I guess your daughter should sleep it off and do some De-stressing.
