wine makes heart race?

I am wondering if this happens to anyone...lately (after i have consumed alcohol - mainly wine)I wake up in the middle of the night with my heart beating faster and I can't go back to sleep. I toss and turn and send myself into a panic attack. I have been able to drink large amounts of wine my whole life and this just started happening...and I am 35! Anybody else experience this or have any advice, feedback?

What do ya' think Bucko? Sounds like a check-up with an EKG is in order.

i have had one, i have had lots of tests. My heart is fine. I think it has to do with anxiety attacks and wine triggers them.
