I am an undergraduate student at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, and am currently working on a project that involves the Petite Sirah grape.

I have to find the best location with the adequate soil condition for this grape. In addition, I have to price the ground and preparation of it, the trellising, and the grape seedlings, labor, etc.

Where is the best place to buy the plants? What kind of trellising does this grape need? How much wine can you make of one plant? Etc.

If you could help me answer any of these questions or point me to the right sources, I would be very grateful.

Thanks,

Manuela

Hi mschrantz and welcome to the board. Can't believe you haven't heard about U.C. Davis. They have all the info you need. WW
