I'm a graduate student that was given a project to do on any publically traded company who produces red wine. I have to do an extensive review of the company, its history, products, operations, and finances. Since I know very little about wine companies, does anyone have a good suggestion on what company to choose?

Hi lleach01 and welcome to the board. I'd imagine the most accessible would be Robert Mondavi as they are very active and Big Bob is a Household name. WW

WW is correct, but if you can get the Gallos to speak with you, you will really have a successful wine company in your scope...

I think she said Publickly Traded Co. Foodster. That's why I gave her the Bobby Boy. WW

Thanks winoweenie and foodster. I found the websit for Robert Modavi Winery and was able to find very useful investor information and annual reports. I appreciate the info.

Mondavi's the most obvious subject, but how about Ravenswood. They're publicly traded also.
