Hi Rich and welcome to the board.This isn't what you want to hear but this wine is not in the mode of great sauternes and is vinified to drink shortly after bottling. Has gone to the great vinegar-barrel in the sky. WW

The Sweet Nancy has between 15% and 20% residual sugar and some decent acidity, so there's an outside chance it may still be somewhat drinkable if it's been stored well. Don't hold your breath though. Value is negligible. Interestingly, the current releases are non-vintage.

Hmmmm...I wondered why it looked more like vinegar than wine (there are also small chunks of stuff floating around in it). Too bad, my Uncle who gave it to me, expected it's value to be high.
