I'd like to find out if there are prohibitions to shipping wine into Arizona. (I've heard there are.) If so, why? My company is hosting a conference there and the hotel wine is unrealistically priced. I'd like to buy from wines.com and have them ship to the conference. Thank you for your help.

Even if it is legal to ship wine to Arizona you cannot ship it legally to the hotel. First, in order for the hotel to accept the wine, you must have a wholesaler's license; second, the hotel would not allow a shipment of wine into its confines for your use because it sells wine on-premise--at the leat, the hotel would charge a corkage fee for your own wines.

The only way you could do it is to hand-carry the wines in luggage and tell no one at the hotel.
