All the awards I give in my year end column aren't puffs...there's a few pans...

PHYLLOXERA to former New York Attorney General Dennis Vacco for fronting for a special interest group funded by liquor wholesalers and misinforming the public about interstate wine shipments on national television. We like to think that wine lovers were responsible for Vacco's narrow loss in the recent elections. Other political enemies of wine and free trade take note.
