It looks like those who enjoy wine in NC may have some more choices of wine available.

Check this out: http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/living/6287256.htm

Get ready Foodie, SB and others, I'll definatly be ordering some of those wines you-all keep talking about.

But I also like the wine and baby rattle option as well!

tandkvd, I used my baby rattle to secure my first glass of wine--the ole man couldn't stand the noise any longer...

WOW, I don't know how effective it is, but I sent letters to Fletcher Hartsel, Linda Johnson, and Robin Hayes through freethegrapes.com.

Has any one else used this web site, or know how effective it is.

I guess we have to keep making noise like foodie with his rattle to get the burocrats to do anything.

At first I thunk I'd posted whist loaded and used a new moniker; Tanked VD(Verne Dewey). It's a great organization and glad you're using their considerable clout. If we could get every member of the board to do the same we might end this idiocy. WW

I'll be looking into freethegrapes more now that I know it's lagit.

WW, Vern Dewey? Don't know who the heck that is. The VD in tandkvd is Van Dyke, like Dick and Jerry. But, without the money.
But Tanked will be fine WW.

Foodie, I expect your first shipment to NC to go to Kannapolis if this goes through. I'll be in contact.

I've registered on freethegrapes.com as well, but what they are really looking for are people in the states who don't allow the shipping to register and allow themselves to be contacted by the media if there is a request and will send updates and remind you when you need to write your legislators. A good group it seems....

So WW, you are Vern Dewey.

Yeah, VD was one of my nicknames in high school. And my mom would never add the D when she had to initial papers.

Well maybe this isn't all that I was hoping for. It looks like NC will only be able to recieve wine from Winerys and not from retailers.

http://www.winespectator.com/Wine/Daily/News/0,1145,2140,00.html

Or is there any way I will be able to order from people like you Foodie?
My e-mail is tandkvd@yahoo.com
