The 2000 vintage of the New World International Wine Competition is scheduled for Feb. 27 & 28, 1999.

Entry forms and invitations to participate will be mailed before Thanksgiving, so if you have not received yours by Dec. 1, contact Chief Judge Jerry D. Mead at (800) 845-9463.

Entries are open to commercial wines produced anywhere in North America, South America, Central America, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.

Wines and distillates made from all fruits and berries, plus Sake, are eligible for entry. (No grain-based beverages other than Sake.)
