All the regional contributors to the Oxford Companion to Wines of North America (including Jancis Robinson) are coming to San Francisco (Ft. Mason) to deliver a series of five lecture/tastings starting 10 March 1999. That's five successive Wednesday evenings ending 7 April. Twelve wines each night will be benchmarks of quality from all the fine wine producing areas of North America. Series cost is $195/person; $355/couple. Registration and descriptive brochure from Pacific Rim Wine Education Center: ph (415) 512-9318 or E-mail to ffogg@pacbell.net
