Kapalua wine Festival

Has anyone been to this Wine Festival in Maui? If so, what to expect, and how pretentious is it? Is it worth $500 for 4 days? If not which part would be recommended, I'm not too fond of the food part, but like all wine types (sweet preferred, but aged and smooth is fine also).
