I have to plan a day trip for work
I was thinking a trip to a winery would
be a good idea.
Can someone recomend a winery
in Long Island.

Just drive out the North Fork of Long Island, and pull in wherever it says "Winery" on the sign. If you reach the Atlantic Ocean, turn around and try again.
