Wine tasting of Brunellos, Barolos and 2000 Bordeaux

Don't know if Tandkvd can be tempted but Carolina Wine Company is putting on a tasting in two locations--Charlotte and Raleigh--that covers some special Brunellos, Barolos (on the young side) and Bordeaux from the 2000 vintage ($40 per person). I am attending the Charlotte tasting (twice as far away but on a Sunday). The Raleigh tasting is on a weeknight and I could not get there on time from work. Among the Bordeaux wines is the 2000 Pavie. (I fell hard for the 2000 Pavie-Maquin at an earlier tasting and could not afford it at about $80 a bottle, let alone the Pavie selling for $200+. Well after this event, at least I can say I tasted the 2000 Pavie.
