Benefit the Atascadero Zoo at June Wine Festival

The 5th Annual Atascadero Wine Festival takes place Friday and Saturday, June 23-24, 2000. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Zoological Society of San Luis Obispo County in its support for the facilities and programs at the Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero, California.

On Friday evening, enjoy a five-course winemaker dinner, wonderful SLO County wines, a Champagne Social Hour, and silent and live auction. Cost for the Friday evening event is $80, and includes a ticket to the Saturday wine tasting.

The Lakeside Wine Tasting and Fine Arts Festival held Saturday afternoon at Atascadero Lake Park from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. will feature the wines of over 20 SLO County wineries. The $15 ticket price includes a commemorative wineglass, eight tasting tickets, live music, art festival, and free admission to the Charles Paddock Zoo. Food and microbrewed beer will also be available.
