Restaurant Recommendation on Long Island

I'm not sure why I didn't come here earlier; but I travel to NY (mid-long island) for Business on occasion. I always struggle on business (when dining alone) to find a restaurant that offers good wine by the glass or by the 1/2 bottle.

Any ideas?
