I am trying to locate some old ports, one is a 1971 and the other is a 1948. If anyone knows how to come across these please let me know. Thanks you in advance.

If you have a name for the ports, then go to www.wine-searcher.com for starters.

Good luck! cp

Hi Remuira and welcome to the board. I`ll give you the same advice as the person searching for pricing on old Maderias, Call Tinamou Wine at 800 388 6390. They specialize in old ports and dessert wines. winoweenie

You may also want to try crossing the border into PA. Some of our specialty wine stores carry older ports from the 30's, 40's, and 50's.
