Unfortunately a bit of a product of the vintage. I find this wine to be just a bit too bright and acidic to be an easy match for food. Th nose is very nice, Nice start there, aromatic, bright, light red fruit. On the palate much the same red berries, sour cherries, hints spices, wood. The texture is up front and center, creamy for the acidity. But the wine lacks focus, and is a bit austere mid palate, coming back with the structure to take it to a slightly acidic finish. Refreshing but not very balanced at this point in time.
