2010 Ormes de Pez

The color of his wine is similar to other 2010's black with a dark deep purple hint, just absolutely lush. ON the nose, a bit shy but brooding. On the palate the ripeness of the vintage is clear. It is a massive wine but balanced with good acidity. The dark fruits take center stage here and is impressive, but a bit simple and four square at this point in time. Finish is a bit clipped and we were looking for more depth in this wine. Perhaps it needs a bit more time?
