2012 Kongsgaard Albarino

A lot of people oh and ahhed at this wine. I have never bought this due to its price. This is not a cheap white.

So I was kinda looking forward to tasting it too. So? It was okay. I don't drink a lot of Albarino but I like this crisp light wine which has a nice aromatic nose. This was frankly unrecognizable to me as an albarino. It was too dense, too thick, oaked and too ripe. I mean it is not a poorly made, wine. It was well made, it just was not an Albarino to me.
