Sweet wines

[Sweet wine]

Hello Everyone,

I would like suggestions for sweet wines that are red. I like a very low acidity to
my wines. Currently I'm drinking a very sprinkling Mascato from
Italy. I believe the bottle says La Versa at the bottom. I really like
this so can someone suggest similar reds or non sparkling red
with the same sweetness level to please. I'm just a novice.

One where the sweetness level is really amped up will be Canadian Ice wines. They make them with red grapes too (tougher find) and need to be consumed relatively fresh but the sweetness level is high.

Welcome Sweet Wines. You might want to check out some Italian Lambruscos. The most popular brand is Reunite, but reputable wine stores will have a broader selection.

I tried a port wine tonight. It was not for me but I'm thankful for the suggestion Wine whiz. I look forward to the second suggestion as soon as I can locate that type of red. Thanks so much

Moscato, some Riesling, Icewine, Sauternes... more suggestions. Please watch the videos that are linked from this page. They should give you a lot of ideas and tips about food pairing.
