2003 Terra Valentine Cabernet Sauvignon spring mountain

This was an eye opener! I've always like TV wines and this one I had lost int he back of the cellar for a while. '03 was not a great vintage and when I had this wine last, I remember the savory components of this wine quite well. That was about 5 years ago. Now this wine has completely opened up. The fruit is back with some very nice structure, still a hint of good savory notes, a hit of mint, nicely balanced and very much still alive. If you have one, it is time to start to pop them. This was absolutely enjoyable and delivers above its vintage!
