I was given a couple of old and possibly rare bottles and I am doing some research on them - what their value might be in today's market and if they have already peaked or have a few more years on them. One is a Christian Brothers Zinfandel (a Napa winery that went out of business in the 80's, so this wine is at least that old even though it has no vintage on the label) and a Simi Cabernet from 1980. Photos below.

Do you think they're drinkable? Or should I use them for salad?

All that would do is ruin the salad.
