2003 Krug

Okay, I came in with preconceived notions of both a 2003 wine and a wine released before onew from the previous year (2002 is being held until 2015 for release).

However, this one is one attractive krug. Toast right away on the nose, citrus, greater density but even better structure which surprised me. The company notes that there is more Pinot Munier than ever and harvest started in August. Another one for the buy list.

Had another chance to taste the 2003 with the 2000's side by side and let me tell you I wish they would trade my 2000's back in for the 2003's. Wow. very nicely done. When both are Krug's this si saying something.
