1996 Chateau Guiraud

I picked up this baby direct from the winery a few years ago.

This is a lovely wine, definitely not a mind blow wine from a great vintage but a decent wine from a decent vintage. Nose is perhaps a bit muted and not really flamboyant but deep with honey, dried fruits like apricot. On the palate, lush and smooth but much the same in terms of flavors. Rock solid an entirely enjoyable.
