1995 Cos d'Estournel
Now 18 years into its life, this wine is starting to show well.

The wine still looked very new, with no bricking, but the nose gives this away as the wine has evolved much. The nose is elegant, fruit up fruit still but secndary and tertiary starting to show in a very elegant manner. Nose was florals, some cedarwood, some asian spice, forest floor, red berries, leather. On the palate much the same but the elelgance showed well in the glass. Wine was consumed over a long period of time (5 hours) and it changed over that time nicely. More density came back, more complexity, while still maintaining a nice overall balance.
