Macallan 18 Y.O. 1981
There is something special about the Mac 18 of this year. People know about it and it is next to impossible to find this bottle now anyways (most have been consumed). But if anyone is able to get a taste of this anywhere, do so.

All I can say is Wow. this is a whisky caught in is full prime of life, fully matured yet amazingly complete. The nose is like a fantastic cognac, full of rancio, before you get to the other notes. and there is more when you taste it, super texture, super long amazing stuff. If you can find it nowadays, expect it to be the wrong side of a $1000 bill, but man is it worth the entry price!
