1977 Chateau Calon Segur

One of my fav Bordeaux producers of late but this bottle was clearly on the decline.

Beefy, meaty, dense but lackingy any fruit. All teritary flavors now, but lacking any sort of charm. Would be an interesting dinner wine but there would have to be another bottle of something else. If you have any of these, past peak and time to drink them all.

77 & 72 were in a tie for worst vintage of the 70s'. No surprise to the wiener. WW
