Sam Adams Alpine Spring
Having dogs and beans for dinner tonight. Not really a wine meal, so BEER. Judy's having her fave - Newcastle Brown Ale. I decided on something at the end of Sam's spring series - Alpine Spring. Very nice crisp, medium hoppy beer. The hops have a citrus note which is just right with the rest of the flavor characteristics.

Next one I'm liking from Sam is the Porch Rocker. It's a wonderful take on a Shandy. It's a golden Helles lager laced with lemonade. Very refreshing on a hot day after 4 hours working the yard.

Not sure I know what four hours of working in a yard feels like..... Smile perhaps something like nailing your a$$ on a plane for three connections and 16 hours worth of flight because it was cheaper than flying direct..... not that that's happened to anyone recently......that I know of......personnally...... WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
