2001 Chateau Grand Mayne
one of a few bottles opened on Sunday night...only getting to notes now.

For the price, this is a GREAT bottle. Absolutely solid buy.

Still deep in color, no real movement there. good clean, ripe dark fruit, cassis muted, tobacco, anise, clean entry, still tannic ans structured. Nice freshness so it was a bit refreshing. Give sense that there is more to give but frankly this is showing well right now and I would be happy to drink all of it at this point.
